An introduction to music and movement for our tiniest dancers, those 2.5 year old. This 45-minute class offers students familiar songs, rhythm exercises and basic dance steps, all while they learn structure and make new friends.
For dancers 3 to 6 years old. Two styles of dance are featured in each full hour of class, and there are two different Combo Classes to choose from - Ballet & Tap or Jazz & Tap. The classes are structured to introduce children to the basics of each style in a fun environment. Students will perform on style of dance in our end-of-year recital.
Classical and timeless. With its emphasis on body placement, balance, poise, grace and discipline, ballet is the foundation of every dancer's technique, and students will learn these essentials in this class.
A fun, syncopated style of dance, and a great physical and mental workout. Students will use their tap shoes as percussive instrument as they learn different combinations, speed techniques, and balance and rhythm exercises. And they get to make noise.
A style of dance that has been around for decades and continues to evolve. In this fun and energetic class, students will learn how to leap, jump and turn while they work on technique, flexibility, strength and conditioning.
A style of street dance, fun and funky. This class lays down different combinations that students can use to develop their own techniques and styles. Song selections are age appropriate and selected for each class and age group.
A fusion of ballet, jazz and contemporary, and performed to music with lyrics that inspire movement and express emotions. This class will focus on students' individual approaches to a chose song - what they feel about it will direct how they move with it.
A total workout, combining all elements of fitness - cardio, muscle conditioning, balance, flexibility and boosted energy. Enjoy the low-intensity and high intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie burning dance fitness party.
